Terms of Service & Community Guidelines

By using Maynsta you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. They apply together with our Privacy Policy and our Child Safety Standards.

1. The app

Maynsta is an app for collecting memories (“moments”) in collections and sharing them with friends. You can upload photos, videos and audio, make collections private, public or visible to selected friends, follow others and exchange messages.

2. Minimum age

You must be at least 16 years old to use Maynsta. By using the App you confirm that you have reached this age.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for the activity under your account.
• Keep your credentials confidential.
• Provide accurate information when registering.
• You may not impersonate another person or brand.

4. Your content

You retain the rights to the content you upload. You warrant that you have the necessary rights to your content and that it does not infringe the rights of third parties (e.g. copyright, personality or trademark rights). You grant Maynsta the simple right, necessary to operate the App, to store your content and display it to the recipients you choose.

5. Prohibited content & conduct

The following are prohibited, in particular:

• Any depiction of the sexual abuse or exploitation of children (CSAE/CSAM) — see our Child Safety Standards. Zero tolerance.
• illegal content and incitement to crime or violence;
• harassment, bullying, hate speech or discrimination;
• glorification of violence, terrorist propaganda, self-harm/suicide encouragement;
• intimate content recorded or shared without consent;
• spam, fraud, phishing, malware;
• infringement of others’ copyright, trademark or personality rights;
• circumventing security or moderation measures, automated scraping.

6. Explicit content

Content with explicit depictions must be marked as “explicit” when uploaded. Users can choose in the settings to hide content marked as explicit. Regardless of any marking, content that sexualizes minors is prohibited without exception and will be removed and reported.

7. Reporting & moderation

You can report content and profiles that violate these rules. We treat reports concerning the safety of children as a priority (see reporting channels). We reserve the right to review and remove reported or suspicious content.

8. Enforcement

In case of violations of these Terms we may remove content, restrict features and suspend accounts temporarily or permanently. For illegal content — especially CSAE — we additionally report to the competent authorities.

9. Liability

The App is provided with reasonable care, but without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free availability. Users are responsible for the content they post. Statutory liability rules remain unaffected.

10. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms; the current version is available here. You can delete your account at any time in the App (Profile → “Delete account”). We may discontinue the provision of the App for good cause.
